Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Marina People Search does not retain its own server copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the details you choose to provide, and we use them to answer the inquiry.
Information Collected Automatically
Ordinary server logs may record an IP address, browser type, page request, and time. Aggregated log data helps diagnose errors and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement when those functions are active.
How the Data Is Used
Collected data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvement. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Government portals, Monterey County offices, California agencies, libraries, and outside search providers follow their own privacy policies. Information entered after leaving Marina People Search is controlled by the destination service. That includes data supplied to sponsored search results.
Who May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. Data may also be disclosed in response to valid legal process, but it is not otherwise shared by Marina People Search.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Technical logs are retained only as long as they serve the stated operational purposes. Since visitors do not create accounts, Marina People Search holds no account password or user profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if a person under 18 submitted such data so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may provide eligible residents rights involving access, correction, deletion, and limits on certain uses of personal information. Because Marina People Search retains little data, a request usually concerns contact messages or available logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Records controlled by Marina, Monterey County, a court, or California remain outside our control and must be addressed with that custodian.
Policy Changes
A revised policy takes effect when posted here. Continued use after publication indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
